Healthy Cooking Discussion at Children’s Hospital Colorado – Work Well 2.0 Health Series / Nov. 10, 2016

Healthy cooking and healthy eating definitely go hand in hand, and we all know that there’s a lot of food available that tastes really good, but might not be in our health’s best interest.

On Thursday, Nov. 10, Jessica Hildebrant, Clinical Dietitian with Children’s Hospital Colorado, reviewed current nutrition recommendations, shared ways to improve the nutrition of preparing food, and demonstrated an easy to make and very healthy fall vegetable salad. She also offered links to healthy recipes online. Download a copy of her presentation for more information.

After attendees were well fed and well informed, Kathleen McBride, Director of the Association of Volunteers, gave a tour of Children’s, offering a closer look at some of the functions of this prized-gem in Aurora, CO.
